PD (Pupillary Distance) is the distance between the centers of your pupils.
⚠Measure YOUR accurate PD and enter it. Use our Measure Tool if needed. Ordering with the wrong PD can make the stencil the incorrect size and fit for your face. Your PD may also be printed on a recent eye prescription.

Fast, accurate, hassle-free PD
Hold a card to your forehead and look at the camera. Our on-device AI finds your pupils automatically. A quick one-time card check keeps the measurement accurate, the same way trusted PD tools do it. Nothing ever leaves your browser.
- Good, even lighting on your face
- Press the card flat against your skin, not held out in front of your face, even by an inch
- Sit at arm's length, like a normal video call. Leaning in close actually hurts accuracy
- Look straight at the camera and hold still for a second
This gives an estimate, typically accurate within a few millimeters when the card is aligned carefully. It isn't a substitute for a professional eye exam.
A few quick tips
- 1Position your face at arm's length away from the camera
- 2Make sure your full face is in the oval outline
- 3Grab the center of your card from the top
- 4Hold the card as straight as possible
- 5Look at the camera lens, not the screen
Press your card flat against your skin, touching your forehead — not held out in front of your face. Even a small gap there throws off the measurement. Sit at a normal video-call distance, about arm's length from the screen, look straight ahead, then capture.
Drag the green lines so they just touch both sides of your card.

You will need your PD (pupillary distance) before ordering your custom stencil. PD tool available within app.
Your PD (pupillary distance) is on your glasses prescription or eye-exam paperwork, usually 54 to 74mm.
Don't know your PD?
Please enter a realistic PD between 48 and 80 mm.
⚠️ Please enter this accurately. It's what makes every measurement in your saved files correct. A wrong PD will throw off the sizing/accuracy of your final results, especially the Cricut reference file.
